WEAAD Event: Breaking the Silence of Elder Abuse

Protecting Elders From Crime

We are excited to announce the 10th anniversary of Central Florida’s Annual World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Educational Symposium!  For this milestone event, we have planned an incredible day of information on how to “protect elders from crime.”  We will also have a “vendor area” staffed by numerous agencies that are on the front line of protecting elders from abuse, exploitation, fraud and identity theft.  Everyone is invited to attend – local residents, elders, caregivers, business professionals, elder services professionals and the faith community.

Friday, June 17, 2016 — 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Community United Methodist Church (4921 S. US Hwy 17/92, Casselberry)

The event is FREE.  And, there is ample FREE parking.
